I reached a point with HP fiction that I just quit.
Like the only thing that interests me is crack pairings and marriage laws these days.

There are hardly any original ideas with it, now a days, I fear.

I mean, Rowling practically tied up everything with that epilogue.
Which I hated.

I wish she hadn't done that, but I understand why she did.
Buuut this is about THG.
Did you ever like the idea of Gale and Katniss?

I shipped it so hard.
But like, Katniss and Peeta is alright, too.
I really wanted Gale and Madge to be a thing.
But then she got blown to bits.

I never liked the thought.
Katniss needed someone to soften her up.
Gale and Madge would have been awesome together!
But yeah...
Clearly that won't happen.

Le sigh. This is why we can't have nice things, Suzanne Collins.

Course, I was close to shipping Gale and Prim, too.
But Suzanne ruined that one.....

I love the fanon theory that Mr. Mellark is also Prim's father, and that's why Prim doesn't have the Seam look and why Katinss' mother freaked out so badly when her husband died because she was full of guilt because she never came clean to him, and also why Mr. Mellark said he would take care of Prim if Katniss died, and why Mrs. Mellark hates them...

I hadn't heard either of those theories.
But then again, I'm always reading Finnick/Annie stories.
Always.
