This is just a snippet of a one shot that I'm writing. It was inspired by some major Payzer feels that I experienced after hearing of their supposed split.
Keep in mind that the spacing and writing style was all done to achieve the emotions that I was feeling whilst I wrote it. It's my own stylistic choice, but if you don't like the spacing, feel free to tell me.

It's been four weeks; Four whole weeks since Liam Payne took my heart and smashed it into tiny little pieces.
And it still hurts every single time I see his face.
I wish I could make it stop.
But the pain is unavoidable because he's everywhere that I go.
Even as I thought about escaping his influence, his big brown eyes were staring down at me from a large billboard across the road where I sat in the corner of my favorite Starbucks. The sheets of rain that poured from the relentless night sky were covering his face, streams of water pouring down from his eyes.
It almost seemed as if he were crying.
"Danielle Claire Peazer! Are you listening to me?"
I quickly snapped my gaze from the One Direction billboard and turned my head to look at my best friend, Eleanor, who was sitting across the table, with a saddened look on her pretty face.
"Yeah. Yeah. I'm listening." I lied.
Eleanor's gaze traveled to the billboard that I'd been staring at and her eyes filled with pity. She leaned forward across the table and took my cold hands in her own. Her slender fingers wrapped around my palms, giving them a firm squeeze. "Dani, talk to me."
"There's nothing to talk about." I whispered, blinking rapidly so the tears wouldn't fall from my eyes. "It's over. He hasn't spoken to me since that day. You know that."
Eleanor sighed and squeezed my hands once again. The black scarf that hung from her neck tickled the tops of my arms as she spoke. "Honey, he probably doesn't know how to contact you. Have you ever thought about that? He left for America the night you broke up and your phone's broken now. You deleted all of your social media. I mean you've basically fallen off the face of the earth."
I pulled my hands out of her grasp and traced my finger around the rim of my hot chocolate. The warmth that radiated from the cup warmed the tip of my fingers and I shivered as the warmth spread to my palms. "That's not an excuse. We dated for two and a half years. If he wanted to contact me, he could've asked any of my friends and family for my new number. Or better yet, he could've come to visit while he was on break."
Eleanor took a sip out of her own hot chocolate and pushed her dark brown hair out of her eyes, but to no avail. Even when she tried to get her shiny locks out of the way, they always fell down into the exact same spot. "Look Dani, I know it's hard to believe, but Liam really does want to talk to you. Louis told me not to tell, but he said he's been too afraid to call. He's afraid that you'll reject him."
"Why would I reject him?" I cried, still blinking rapidly. "He broke up with me!"
Eleanor nodded her head, her hair bouncing up and down. "I know. And I could argue in his defense all night, but I think it'd be better if you heard it straight from him."
"Well that's not gonna happen anytime soon, now is it?" I muttered, wrapping my arms around myself and hugging my body tight. My woolen sweater felt itchy against my skin, but it was one of Liam's old sweaters and I'd always loved wearing it.
My question was met with Eleanor's silence and eventually I looked up. The ghost of a smile was still upon her lips as she gazed past me, her eyes resting on the door. I whirled around to see what she was looking at and that's when I saw him.
Liam.
