This is the beginning to a one shot I'm working on where Niall gets scared out of his wits in a haunted house.
~~
"I'm serious, I don't get bothered by horror films," I shrugged, looking over at Louis and Harry.
Harry looked at me like I was mad, and Louis just laughed as though he didn't believe a word that was coming out of my mouth.
"What?" I asked, prodding them to continue. The three of us were spending the evening just chilling at Louis' place, watching horror films and eating Halloween candy. I have to say, the fact that sweets are all over the place is probably the best part about this holiday.
"Niall," Louis said seriously, removing from his fit of laughter. "You cried during Titanic."
"Well yeah," I said to him, no longer paying attention to the screen. “But that hardly counts as a horror movie. I just don’t scare easily.”
Again, the two of them shared this look and I pretended not to notice as I attempted to turn my attention back to the film. Maybe if the two of them wouldn’t have so many conversations with their eyes the fans wouldn’t think they were in a relationship! Because even I was beginning to think something was going on.
“You just don’t involved in the film enough,” Louis said dismissively.
I got plenty involved in the films! “What?”
He shrugged, looking away from the screen again and turning to me. I thought we were supposed to be watching horror films, not grilling me on whether I got scared by them or not. “You don’t relate to the characters. That’s why you don’t get scared, you can’t put yourself in their shoes.”
“How do you explain him crying during Titanic, then?” Harry asked, glancing up at Louis.
Louis snickered. “Well, that was obviously because he saw the dinner plates floating around.”
